Monash Children’s Hospital Tops Out

Construction of the new $250M Monash Children’s Hospital has celebrated a significant milestone, with the building reaching its full height and completion of the development’s external structure.

Premier of Victoria, Daniel Andrews and Minister for Health, Jill Hennessy were on site to celebrate the ‘topping out’ milestone and signed a structural beam to be installed in the state-of-the-art hospital. Premier Andrew’s stated “This new hospital will give children in Melbourne’s south east the best care they need, in state-of-the-art facilities.”

Silver Thomas Hanley (STH) are proud to be the Architects and Health Planners of this 30,000 m² hospital, which will be Australia’s third largest children’s hospital once complete.
