This Potts Point duplex blends classic Sydney sophistication with the warmth of a country home. A clear theme, rich materials, and bespoke details create a refined yet inviting space. With seamless flow, custom joinery, and elegant finishes, the home is both effortlessly functional and luxuriously tailored to the clients’ lifestyle.

The client’s brief was to reimagine city living, to bring quaint country charm to the bustle of Potts Point. Stripping away years of previous renovations, we uncovered a timeless canvas that allowed us to reimagine the space with a design vision that blends the warmth of a country home with the refined elegance of an urban apartment.

In response to the project’s proximity to Sydney harbour and warm climate, a palette of soft, neutral tones complements the apartment’s harbourside locale and creates an inviting atmosphere throughout the living and resting spaces. To add drama to the space, a bold, veined marble forms striking textural accents, anchoring the kitchen, living, and amenities with a sculptural quality. This is complemented by bronze fixtures, which introduce warmth and a subtle, functional contrast. 

Every design decision has been carefully considered to support the client’s lifestyle, ensuring a fluid transition between work, daily living, and entertaining. Custom joinery and concealed storage maximise space without compromising aesthetics, while natural materials and tactile finishes evoke a sense of comfort and connection to the apartment’s vision of a country home.
