Silver Thomas Hanley, in association with Merat Architects completed contract documentation for this educational facility in 2010 for Northern Health and its partners La Trobe University and the University of Melbourne. The purpose of the facility was to increase capacity for clinical teaching on the Northern Hospital campus in Epping, with student numbers expected to rise.

This purpose built two level facility features shared teaching and educational areas, research space, simulation centre, laboratory facilities, two auditoriums, kitchen and lounge space, offices and dedicated space for both Melbourne and La Trobe Universities in an integrated learning environment.
