Situated in the heart of Mildura, Regis Ontario enjoys enclosed leafy courtyard garden areas which ensure residents are always enticed outdoors in this renowned Mediterranean climate. Threaded through the courtyards are meandering walkways and a water feature, as well as indoor activity rooms and comfortable lounges with open fireplaces.

The facility reflects Silver Thomas Hanley's philosophy that aged care should be contemporary but also create a sense of place and domesticity. Clearstory lighting and high ceilings provide an open, uplifting and welcoming environment.

The project is a 38 room extension to an existing 70 room low to high care and dementia facility. STH modernised and extended the facility, creating new communal spaces, including a family retreat, cafe, cinema, hairdresser, kitchen, library/media room and new lounge and dining rooms.

The design also incorporates a new Medical and Physiotherapy Suite. The form of the facility is low slung and domestic in scale with a material plate designed to ferelec tthe colours and texture of Midula and the Murray River.
