Women’s & Children’s Hospital Upgrade, Adelaide, SA

STH have completed works on the $50 million upgrade of the Women's & Children's Hospital in Adelaide. The upgrade allows Women's & Children's Health Network to continue providing the highest level of care while planning continues for the new Women's & Children's Hospital.

The upgrades addresses high priority clinical and infrastructure requirements in four key areas, enabling the delivery of high quality and safe services to patients and their families.

The Mallee Ward redevelopment created a Child and Adolescent Mental Health Service Unit with an outdoor space and the ability to flex bedrooms between high dependency and general use as required.

The Paediatric Emergency Department redevelopment has an improved triage area, dedicated mental health assessment spaces and three multi-purpose consultation spaces.
