This purpose-built facility includes dedicated areas for reception, assessment, diagnosis, treatment, and recovery, ensuring a smooth and effective patient journey. Key design principles focus on:
- Patient-Centered Care – Separate zones for different patient groups, including Youth/Vulnerable Persons and Older Persons, ensuring tailored support.
- Flexibility & Safety – Adaptable bedrooms that can transition between zones and a strategically placed de-escalation area near staff bases.
- Supportive Spaces – A welcoming family lounge with courtyard access, interview rooms, and staff respite areas to enhance well-being for both patients and caregivers.
- Efficient Operations – Staff amenities on a separate, secure floor and a plant level designed to minimize maintenance disruptions to patient care.
