St John of God Geelong Hospital
Geelong, Victoria
Studio STH were engaged by St John of God Health Care to provide design services, including a review of master plan and feasibility studies conducted prior. The Geelong campus is sited in the fringes of the Geelong CBD in a city urban environment. The available land to develop on was limited, and through workshops with the key stakeholders, greater opportunities were discovered to reconfigure and increase the site capacity to meet current and projected growth requirements.
The facility provides a new, contemporary frontage for this high profile site, and has established a new architectural language that is fresh, vibrant and visually stimulating, whilst complimenting the existing buildings.

Complementing the major redevelopment of the hospital, STH designed a 6 level Medical Centre, offering private medical rooms for physicians, being located directly adjacent the hospital. The facility is located on a prominent street corner, with elevated presence.
